Chien-Chi Chang (b. 1961, Taichung, Taiwan) is a photographer, filmmaker, and visual artist based in Graz, Austria.

For more than three decades, he has developed long-term projects exploring identity, migration, conflict, and the invisible ties that connect and divide us. Nominated to Magnum Photos in 1995, he became a full member in 2001.

Working across photography, film, sound, and installation, Chang has expanded documentary practice beyond the still image. As he puts it, "Still images can be moving, and moving images can be still. Both meet within the soundscape."
